Access Control Hardware, Software and Integration Services

The Ohio Department of Public Safety is seeking access control hardware, software, and integration services for its government authority located in Columbus, Ohio. The agency needs to expand and maintain its security infrastructure while ensuring uninterrupted operation during ongoing facility expansions, renovations, or modifications. This project requires seamless compatibility with the agency's currently deployed Honeywell environment across statewide facilities, dispatch centers, and Highway Patrol posts. The scope of work covers three primary areas, starting with Honeywell-compatible door controllers, proprietary card and door readers, access control panels, and compatible power supplies. All hardware components must be brand new, manufacturer-certified, and fully compatible with the existing infrastructure. Additionally, the agency requires Honeywell software modules, configuration utilities, compatible firmware versions, and licensing that accommodates statewide user counts. Integration requirements include certified modules for controllers, readers, and panels, alongside tools for system configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance. The agency also requires middleware or interface utilities to ensure interoperability with its existing networks. To be eligible for selection, bidders must perform all work onsite and operate entirely onshore within the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to define the cost structure.
