Armed and Unarmed Security Services

The Brazos Transit District in College Station, Texas, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide both armed and unarmed security services. The agency requires these services to secure its facilities and ensure the safety of its staff and visitors during regular business hours from Monday through Friday, with additional after-hours coverage as needed. The selected provider will establish a reliable security presence capable of conducting regular patrols and executing emergency response duties. The scope of work requires all deployed security personnel to be at least eighteen years old for unarmed roles and at least twenty-one years old for armed roles. Every officer must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening, while also demonstrating strong communication and customer-service skills. Armed guards must hold a valid Level III commissioned security officer license and maintain an active firearm proficiency and qualification record. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations, and the selected vendor must perform all security work onsite at the College Station location. The agency is contracting these services for a set period of two years.
