Mentoring Connection Platform

The American Academy of Pediatrics is seeking a vendor to design, implement, and support a secure, scalable, and user-friendly online mentoring connection platform. This platform must support structured mentoring relationships that advance professional development, leadership growth, belonging, and long-term member engagement. The agency requires a solution that includes customizable member profiles with structured and open-text fields for career stage, clinical interests, leadership interests, lived experience, and geographic preferences. The requested scope of work covers secure in-platform messaging between matched participants, automated and customizable notifications, and role-based administrative access. The platform must provide real-time visibility into enrollment, matches, and engagement, alongside advanced analytics and custom reporting. Additionally, the system must support compatibility with single sign-on or AAP authentication systems, comply with data security and privacy regulations, offer a mobile-optimized app experience, and include program design or optimization consulting. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency permits the performance of the work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget.
