The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources is seeking a vendor to provide grant program services to support agricultural businesses. The agency is attempting to solve the problem of limited grant writing capacity among regional agricultural businesses while avoiding duplication of effort in educational initiatives. The project covers collaborating with department staff on workshops, listening sessions, classes, webinars, and virtual meetings to share templates and programs. The scope of work requires the vendor to provide grant writing training to agricultural businesses either through one-on-one sessions or group workshops. The agency is requesting proposals for new program initiatives that have not currently or previously received funding. The project also requires a detailed plan to attract traditional and non-traditional regional partners to support and promote regional agriculture. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the inclusion of matching funds and the leverage of other dollars, both of which must be clearly demonstrated in the submission. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services.
