The institution needs to solve the challenge of designing and developing within both WordPress and Drupal environments, while successfully deploying code across diverse, university-sanctioned hosting platforms such as Pantheon and WPEngine via central university accounts. The scope of work covers discovery and information architecture, which includes conducting stakeholder interviews, auditing legacy academic content or taxonomies, and mapping user journeys. The requested services also encompass user interface and user experience visual design to craft mobile-first, high-fidelity mock-ups for core academic templates that strictly adhere to the university Visual Identity System. Additionally, the selected providers must handle custom theme and component development, accessibility certification, and technical deployment collaboration. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore, United States organizations.
