Advanced Metering Infrastructure Solution

The City of Dallas, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide and implement an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solution for a small, representative segment of its government authority. The agency is trying to solve water system performance issues by acquiring equipment and software to measure unanticipated water use, diurnal distribution system pressure, and non-revenue water loss. The scope of work requires the installation of at least one thousand meter end points across a wide range of meter types. The selected provider must install and maintain radio and cellular-based communication systems as a service. The project also covers the installation of standard backhaul technology connected to a Meter Data Management system utilizing standard software. Additionally, the agency requires the implementation of AMI system performance reporting to track network response time, read interval success, latency, message throughput, and network redundancy. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in the United States. The agency allows the work to be performed offsite, and bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online.
