Barcoding Solutions

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide barcoding solutions that establish standardized, scalable, and technology-enabled processes. This solution will replace legacy barcode scanning tools with updated hardware, cloud-based software, and integrated workflows to improve asset lifecycle management, streamline warehouse operations, and enable accurate, timely decision-making. The project covers asset tagging, validation, inventory execution, and reconciliation processes, with the option to operate using mobile, web-based devices in place of other hardware. The requested scope of work includes generating barcode labels at the point of receiving, reading existing barcodes to update asset records, and capturing asset details such as serial number, location, and custodian department. The solution must provide real-time validation of scanned assets against Oracle Fusion as the system of record, automatically updating the asset lifecycle status and metadata. The vendor must plan and conduct a site visit to assess scanner and printer compatibility, configure scanning software to link with Oracle Fixed Assets, and ensure all hardware and software are compatible with Oracle Cloud. The agency requires the procurement and deployment of seventy scanners capable of operating with or without Wi-Fi connectivity and twenty printers. These printers will be placed in receiving locations including Dulles, CTF ELES, CTF Overhaul, MSS, Greenbelt, Andrews Overhaul, Brentwood, Alexandria, and Digital Modernization. Bidders must be onshore United States organizations only. The vendor must perform all work offsite at their own office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions no later than June 16, 2026.
