Senior Developer Architect Services

The government authority in British Columbia is seeking senior-level solution architecture and hands-on development services to design, build, and implement enterprise-grade solutions. This initiative aims to support the agency's regulatory and operational systems through end-to-end solution architectures and production-grade code. The selected vendor must deliver incremental, production-ready solutions while collaborating across development and operations teams to ensure systems are observable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards. The scope of work requires designing and implementing services, APIs, and event-driven solutions to enable scalable, resilient integration across legacy and modern platforms. The agency needs the development and optimization of integration and data pipelines, including REST/SOAP services, Kafka-based streaming, and architectures aligned to schema and contract management practices. Additionally, the project involves building custom Java-based extensions, such as Keycloak SPIs and Debezium connectors, and configuring platform, API management, and security components including OpenShift, API gateways, identity protocols, and TLS-secured communications. Only onshore organizations based in Canada are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted offsite.
