RFI for Mobile Biometrics Identification Devices Supplies

The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking information on mobile biometric identification devices to determine functionality offerings and build requirements around needed functions. The agency requires devices that can run on iOS and Android operating systems. The desired solution must include rules for records retention and automatic destruction when the retention period expires, and it must allow the agency to customize the output format. The scope of work covers the development and maintenance of multiple interfaces for systems internal and external to the agency, including the criminal history repository. The system must also support notifications, banners, and failure notifications that alert system administrators of any system or program errors. Performance of the work can occur either offsite or onsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate in this market research. The agency is looking for proposals to understand budget parameters, and responses can be submitted digitally via email or online.
