Stormwater Infrastructure Mapping Services

The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders in New Jersey is seeking a qualified vendor to develop a comprehensive electronic municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) Infrastructure Map. The agency requires the systematic review and evaluation of all relevant available County data, including GIS layers, as-builts, record plans, historic mapping, and existing MS4-related datasets. This mapping initiative will solve the agency's need for a centralized, validated, and highly accurate electronic inventory of its stormwater infrastructure. The project covers the validation of all data, documentation, analyses, or other information obtained from external sources prior to its inclusion in any deliverable or recommendation. External sources include municipalities, public authorities, consultants, third-party databases, and publicly available materials. The selected consultant must coordinate and cooperate with other public agencies to facilitate data collection and mapping tasks. The agency requires all produced GIS data to be documented in a metadata record that adheres strictly to mandatory GIS elements. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will accept digital proposal submissions via email or online portal, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project.
