The Tom Green County government authority in San Angelo, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide a turn-key internet and fiber cabling installation service. The agency requires a fully operational, tested system with a Service Level Agreement guaranteeing 99.9 percent uptime at full bandwidth. This project aims to establish reliable, high-speed connectivity between county facilities while ensuring the vendor manages all logistical and infrastructure requirements. The scope of work covers the installation of all necessary fiber and components, including the provision of all on-site equipment required for fiber connectivity. The selected provider must secure all permits, easements, and right-of-way fiber routes, establishing the entry point on the right-of-way and easements up to the closest possible point of facility entry with county approval. Additionally, the service provider must deliver 5Gb symmetrical internet service via fiber at two locations, with the capacity to scale up to 10Gb in the future. The hardware must interface with an SFP connection, and the provider must supply 64 contiguous external IP addresses configured as a /26 subnet. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations.
