Regional Traffic Count Service

The government authority located in Washington is seeking a vendor to provide a regional traffic count service. This program collects data to enable jurisdictions to monitor changing traffic conditions over time, identify transportation trends, and prioritize future transportation investments. The agency requires the capture of 72-hour bi-directional counts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at approximately 220 sites. The scope of work requires the submission of collected data bi-monthly within seven working days after the work takes place, continuing until the program ends. The agency also requires the electronic delivery of a GIS shapefile containing all traffic count data. Eligible bidders must be onshore USA organizations.
