Distributed Antenna System Modernization Service

The government authority located in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking a vendor to modernize its legacy distributed antenna system infrastructure. This project aims to resolve indoor coverage limitations and enhance emergency communication capabilities by upgrading the existing system to support modern cellular technologies. The upgraded infrastructure must support FirstNet Band fourteen, LTE, five-G, and land mobile radio public safety seven-hundred to eight-hundred megahertz bands while remaining carrier-agnostic and adaptable for future six-G adoption. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to perform system design, programming, tuning, and registration services. Additionally, the project entails decommissioning unused legacy system components so the authority can eventually remove them from inventory and dispose of them. The authority requires all performance of the work to occur offsite. The authority is establishing a contract period of four years for this project. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate in this procurement. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal, and the authority is currently open to receiving budget proposals for the work.
