The City of Palmer, Alaska, requires ongoing custodial services for the Robert Vroman Public Works Facility. The agency is seeking a qualified contractor to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness throughout the facility on a regular basis. This procurement addresses the daily operational need for a clean and sanitary working environment for public works personnel. The scope of work covers comprehensive cleaning tasks to be performed onsite at the Palmer facility. Daily duties include emptying trash cans, changing liners, spot cleaning walls and windowsills, and sanitizing light switches, door handles, and handrails. The selected contractor must clean the kitchen areas, including the sink, counter, table, coffee pot, water cooler, microwave, and the exterior of the refrigerator, while restocking kitchen supplies as needed. Bathroom maintenance requires the thorough cleaning of sinks, toilets, urinals, counters, mirrors, glass, and chrome hardware. Contractors must also spot clean bathroom partitions and walls, empty trash, replace garbage liners, and clean and refill soap, toilet paper, paper towel, and sanitary napkin dispensers. Floor care involves sweeping and mopping hard surfaces, as well as vacuuming any carpeted areas. Exterior glass doors must be cleaned, including the bottom and surrounding glass, when weather permits. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services, and bidders may submit their responses digitally via email or through an online portal.
