Multi Shaft, Low Speed, High Torque Shredding System

A government authority located in Michigan is seeking a multi-shaft, low-speed, high-torque shredding system. The agency needs an industrial shredding system capable of securely and efficiently processing a wide range of sensitive and durable materials. This system will solve the problem of destroying both lightweight materials, such as paper and plastics, and tougher items, including uniforms, Kevlar, and limited metal objects. The requested scope of work covers the provision of a shredder powered between forty and sixty horsepower to ensure controlled shredding. To support various destruction needs, the agency requires the shredder to operate with interchangeable sizing screens to produce defined particle sizes, as well as function effectively without screens for larger or more rigid materials. The screen system must support efficient changeout within one hour by two personnel to minimize downtime during transitions. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency requires the performance of the work to be offsite. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
