The Town of Vail, Colorado, is seeking a design-build contractor to deliver a complete and fully operational show lighting system for Dobson Arena. The agency is trying to transform the arena into a more dynamic entertainment and event venue that supports sporting events, community events, entertainment use, and special event programming. The selected contractor must handle the design, engineering, coordination, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, training, and closeout services for the new lighting system. The scope of work requires the contractor to coordinate work sequencing, deliveries, access, lifts, staging, and shutdowns with the agency and the broader project team. The contractor must also identify and manage all interfaces with existing arena systems, including the scoreboard, audio, controls, power, data, communications, rigging, and mounting. Performance of all contract work must take place onsite at the arena in Vail, Colorado. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project. Interested parties must attend a pre-proposal meeting on June 16, 2026, and submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than June 18, 2026.
