Retain a Rate Case Consultant Service

The Connecticut government authority located in New Britain is seeking a rate case consultant to examine rate design issues. The agency needs to evaluate the acceptability and reasonableness of proposed revenue recovery mechanisms, rates, and tariffs. The selected consultant will analyze class cost of service studies, forecast revenue and customer statistics, and assess bill impacts. The scope of work covers evaluating the distribution of proposed revenue increases and rate designs across various rate divisions. The consultant will also develop and propose rates to generate the recommended revenue requirement, prepare typical bills, and analyze time-varying and low-income discount rates as applicable. This project allows for offsite performance, and the agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget. Only United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity.
