Board Governance Consultant Services

The government authority located in Jefferson, Missouri is seeking a board governance consultant to provide specialized services to its Board of Trustees and staff. The agency is trying to ensure effective governance, structured evaluations, and proper onboarding for its leadership team. This initiative aims to maintain high standards of institutional oversight and administrative performance through professional consulting. The scope of work covers five distinct areas of governance support. The selected consultant must review and update the Board Governance Charter and Policy during the first year of engagement and every three years thereafter. The agency also requires annual board self-evaluation services and annual executive director evaluation services. Additionally, the consultant must provide board orientation and onboarding services on an as-needed basis, and attend agency board meetings at least annually, or more frequently as required. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based exclusively in the United States. The agency allows the selected contractor to perform all work offsite.
