RFI for On-Line Water Data Portal

The issuing agency is seeking information to identify vendors capable of providing an online water data portal. The agency needs a database system that connects available water resource data to water stakeholders through a user-friendly platform. This project aims to solve the problem of fragmented water data by integrating multiple, publicly available sources into a single, accessible system. The requested scope of work covers the development of a platform that provides insights into future water needs based on growth projections and offers educational resources to raise public awareness about water conservation best practices. The platform must display visual representations of groundwater and surface water data across the state in a dashboard format for ease of understanding. Required technical capabilities include presenting data at or near real-time, allowing data downloads, displaying water resources trend analyses, enabling spatial scalability down to the sub-basin level within the region, and maintaining customizability to incorporate future data sources. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite. The agency is looking for budget proposals within the responses to understand the cost of the portal. Respondents must submit their responses digitally via email or online. The agency has set a deadline for all questions, which must be submitted no later than June 17, 2026.
