Cloud-Based Background Investigation Software

The agency is seeking a secure, cloud-based, pre-employment background investigation software system to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and security of its hiring process. The system must integrate seamlessly with the current digital system in use by the agency to ensure high-quality hiring decisions across various sectors, including bioscience, computer software, green technology, hospitality, financial management, health care, education, and transportation. Additionally, the software must contain tools to ensure compliance with current state commission on peace officer standards and training regulations. The scope of work requires automated background checks, including criminal history, employment verification, education verification, and reference checks. The selected provider must deliver twenty-four-seven customer support and training resources to assist users in maximizing the capabilities of the system. Performance of the work will take place offsite over a contract period of five years. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders rather than providing a pre-determined budget signal. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 29, 2026.
