Security Camera System

The Detroit Public Lighting Authority is seeking a vendor to deliver a fully operational security camera system for its facility in Detroit, Michigan. The authority requires a complete solution that includes all necessary labor, supervision, materials, equipment, cabling, tools, hardware, software, programming, testing, and related services. This system will solve the authority's need for enhanced facility surveillance through the installation of both interior and exterior IP cameras. The scope of work covers the installation of interior four-megapixel IP cameras featuring a one-over-one-point-eight-inch sensor, F1.0 aperture, 2.8-millimeter lens, and night vision capabilities. The project also requires exterior eight-megapixel IP cameras with a 2.8-millimeter fixed lens. The selected vendor must perform camera installations and make precise adjustments according to a provided map that indicates the required direction for each camera. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. Although the physical installation must occur at the Detroit facility, the authority notes that performance of the work will be offsite. The authority has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of the project. The authority will host a pre-bid meeting on June 25, 2026, to discuss the project requirements. Bidders must submit all clarification questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 30, 2026.
