Event Security Services

The Irmo Charter School District or municipal authority in Irmo, South Carolina, is seeking event security services to secure athletic events, special events, and other functions. The agency needs to solve the problem of managing crowds and securing entry points during these public gatherings. The scope of work covers event security personnel, admission control, metal detection screening, crowd management, access control, facility security, and parking and traffic control. Event staff must primarily assist with crowd control, help operate metal detectors, scan tickets, and direct traffic. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite at the designated event locations in Irmo, South Carolina. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these services. The contract period will run for one year from the date of award. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the bidder's ability to fulfill the comprehensive security and crowd management requirements. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the agency no later than June 30, 2026.
