Unarmed Security Guard Services

The Bossier Levee District in Bossier, Louisiana, is seeking unarmed security guard services to protect its premises from thieves, vandals, and other offenders. The agency requires guards to patrol the grounds and exterior of buildings by foot, lock and unlock the District Headquarters yard gates, and receive and forward emergency calls and bridge opening requests to appropriate personnel. Guards must report to the Headquarters Front Desk at the start of each shift to collect a provided cellular phone, portable radio, and Master Security ID Card, and they must transfer the administrative building switchboard telephone to the guard station. The scope of work requires sixteen hours of daily coverage from Monday through Friday, starting at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 AM the following day. Weekend coverage requires forty-eight continuous hours of service, starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday and ending at 8:00 AM on Monday. Outgoing guards must provide detailed shift handovers to incoming guards to prevent delays in critical response times. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of the work will take place offsite from the bidder's perspective, at the agency's facility in Bossier, Louisiana.
