The Township of Grosse Ile, Michigan, is seeking information technology consultants to provide comprehensive IT support services. The agency requires a partner to manage its help desk, network administration, hardware and software services, security, and general IT infrastructure. A critical requirement of this contract is the provision of 24/7 emergency support specifically for the local Police and Fire departments. The scope of work covers software troubleshooting, hardware support for servers, workstations, and mobile data computers, and both remote and on-site support. Network administration duties include managing access, printing, resource and file sharing, email hosting, server maintenance, firewall administration, and infrastructure documentation. The selected provider must also handle computer repairs, server upgrades, virus protection, backup systems, and coordination with third-party vendors. General IT services under this contract include resolving infrastructure issues, attending meetings, assisting with IT budgeting, and providing access to a ticketing system for tracking support requests. To be eligible for this contract, bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of the work to be completed offsite, with the exception of required on-site support services. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of these services.
