Surveying Services

The San Jacinto River Authority in Conroe, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive surveying services. The agency requires these services to support planning and design purposes for its various infrastructure assets, including canals, channels, roadways, lakes, and reservoirs. The selected vendor will perform all work offsite at their own office location. The scope of work covers four primary surveying categories. For topographic surveys, the agency requires field surveys conducted in accordance with the Manual of Practice for Land Surveying in Texas, including establishing control points, cross-sections, property boundaries, and observable features. Deliverables for this task must include AutoCAD version 2018 or later, GIS shapefiles, point files, and PDF drawings. For boundary surveys, the agency requires metes and bounds narratives, survey exhibits, and GIS shapefiles, all compliant with the Manual of Practice for Land Surveying in Texas. The provider must also coordinate the acquisition of current property information such as deeds, owner details, and easements. Additionally, the agency requires hydrographic and bathymetric surveying on lakes, reservoirs, and canals, which may include the use of drones. The final scope element involves Subsurface Utility Engineering, including quality Level A services. The agency requires non-destructive test holes on various types of utilities. To be eligible for this opportunity, bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services.
