RFI for On-Line Water Data Portal

The agency is seeking information to identify a vendor capable of providing an online water data portal. This project aims to solve the problem of disconnected water resource data by establishing a database system that links available information to water stakeholders through a user-friendly platform. The scope of work requires a platform that incorporates data from multiple publicly available sources and presents this information in a dashboard format at or near real-time. The requested platform must include insights into future water needs based on growth projections, educational resources to raise public awareness about water conservation, and visual representations of groundwater and surface water data across the state. The system must allow users to download data, display water resources trend analyses, and allow for spatial scalability down to the sub-basin level within the region. The agency also requires the platform to be customizable so that future sources of data and information can be integrated over time. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations based only in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this request no later than June 17, 2026. Responses to this request may be submitted digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine budget parameters.
