The government authority located in Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking a vendor to provide information technology services. The agency needs to solve the problem of maintaining and supporting its computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices through regular maintenance and support. The scope of work requires seventy hours of onsite and remote maintenance and support per quarter, totaling up to two hundred and eighty hours per fiscal year. The selected contractor must unpack, inventory, and document the delivery of computers, as well as update operating systems with current security patches, firmware updates, and required supporting software. The work also covers installing and configuring approved operating systems, productivity software, web browsers, security software, email access, Virtual Private Network access, and network resources. Additionally, the contractor must encrypt hard drives, configure and maintain approved firewall and security settings, install firmware password protection, and provide printer and peripheral device support. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency requires the contractor to provide or make available online a monthly report detailing the activity and status of all logged requests, including recommendations for system maintenance, operational efficiency, security updates, or equipment replacement. Services performed within the contracted hours will be billed at the awarded hourly rate, while services performed before 8:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, excluding state holidays, will be billed at the awarded after-hours rate.
