The Township of Grosse Ile, Michigan, is seeking information technology consultants to provide comprehensive IT support services. The agency needs a partner to manage its help desk, network administration, hardware and software maintenance, security, and general IT infrastructure. The primary goal is to ensure continuous, secure, and well-documented technology operations across all municipal departments. The scope of work covers software and hardware troubleshooting for servers, workstations, and mobile data computers through both remote and on-site support. Network administration duties include managing access, printing, files, email hosting, server maintenance, firewalls, and infrastructure documentation. Additionally, the selected partner must handle virus protection, backup systems, computer repairs, server upgrades, and coordination with third-party vendors. The agency requires the provider to offer a ticketing system for tracking support requests and to assist with IT budgeting and meetings upon request. Crucially, the provider must deliver emergency support for the Police and Fire departments twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. While the performance of the work will be offsite, eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed specific key dates in the initial solicitation.
