Aerial Helicopter Survey Services

The Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management Department is seeking aerial helicopter survey services to assess manatee populations and manatee protection efforts. The project covers the intracoastal waterway, ocean inlets, and adjacent canals within the county boundaries. The selected contractor must provide all supplies, aircraft, manpower, equipment, fuel, flight fees, and incidental expenses necessary to conduct these surveys. The agency requires one helicopter aircraft, preferably a Robinson R44 or equivalent or better, with the capacity to transport up to three passengers. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The performance of the survey work will take place offsite in the specified Florida waterways. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 24, 2026.
