Surveying Services

The San Jacinto River Authority in Conroe, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive surveying services. The agency requires these services to support planning and design purposes for its infrastructure and water systems. The selected vendor will perform all work offsite at their own office location. The scope of work covers four primary surveying categories, starting with topographic surveys conducted in accordance with the Manual of Practice for Land Surveying in Texas. This task requires establishing control points, providing surveyed cross-sections of canals, channels, and roadways, and locating property boundaries, easements, rights-of-way, fee strips, and observable topographic features. The agency requires the final topographic deliverables in AutoCAD version 2018 or later, GIS shapefiles, point files, and PDF drawings. The second category requires boundary surveys conducted in accordance with the Manual of Practice for Land Surveying in Texas. The agency needs narrative metes and bounds, survey exhibits for each boundary including GIS shapefiles, and coordination to obtain current property information such as deeds, owner information, and easements. The third category involves hydrographic and bathymetric surveying on lakes, reservoirs, and canals, which may include the use of drones. The final category requires various levels of subsurface utility engineering, including quality Level A services. The agency needs non-destructive test holes performed on various types of utilities. To be eligible for this opportunity, the vendor must be an onshore organization based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services.
