Custodial Services

The City of Pearland, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide custodial services at city facilities and special event cleaning services at city rental facilities. The city requires all bidders to adhere to a minimum staffing level of one custodial personnel per nineteen thousand gross square feet of building space. City personnel will inspect and monitor all work performance to ensure standards are met. The scope of work requires the vendor to provide all necessary supplies and equipment to perform the cleaning responsibilities. These items include all-purpose cleaners, disinfectants, deodorizers, stainless steel cleaner, oven cleaner, window cleaner, dust mop treatment, and floor wax with a minimum of twenty percent solids. The vendor must also supply scrub brushes, wipes, newspapers, rags, floor stripping and waxing equipment, dusters, toilet brushes, sponges, rubber gloves, carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaning equipment, ladders, water hoses, nozzles, gasoline or electric blowers with extension cords, and polishing products. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The performance of the work will be offsite, requiring the vendor to carry out work in their own office location. The city is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 26, 2026.
