The City of Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a vendor to provide a ten-year, corporately funded, artificial intelligence-led, turnkey leak detection program for its water resources. The agency is trying to solve the problem of undetected leaks in its water infrastructure by utilizing advanced technology to identify vulnerabilities. The scope of work covers between 62 and 310 miles of the potable water pipeline network, with the exact mileage depending on network stability and mutual agreement. The selected vendor must deploy artificial intelligence sensors across the agreed network coverage area during the initial deployment and operations phase. The agency requires continuous monitoring, which includes uploading sensor data and investigating waypoints once per year. If initial findings do not produce favorable results, the vendor must relocate the sensors to a different section of the agreed water network. Post-repair validation must be conducted using retained sensors at the repair sites according to the specified methodology. The contract period will run for three years, and the agency retains the option to continue using the artificial intelligence technology under a separate license agreement at the end of the contract. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place offsite.
