RFI for Laboratory Information Management Systems

The agency is seeking information on Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to centralize and streamline its laboratory operations. The desired software must address key operational challenges by providing end-to-end functionality for sample tracking, test management, workflow automation, quality control, reporting, and data integrity. The project covers test and data management, quality and compliance, workflow and operations, reporting and dashboards, enterprise system integration, user access and security, client interaction, data protection, and data migration. Specific technical requirements include workflow configuration, role-based access control, encryption in transit and at rest, and integration with enterprise platforms like ERP or financial systems. The agency also requires capabilities for external client portals, business intelligence, and indicative costs for migrating historical data. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations located in Canada. The performance of the work will take place offsite. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or through the online portal. The agency is looking for budget proposals and has set a deadline for all questions to be submitted no later than June 26, 2026.
