RFI for Core Scanning, Digital Platform, Data Integration, and Facility Modernization Solutions

The issuing agency is seeking information on core scanning, digital platform, data integration, and facility modernization solutions. The agency intends to digitize approximately 700,000 metres of drill core, integrate associated historical datasets, and provide open-access to this data through a digital platform. This initiative aims to establish high-throughput and high-quality scanning of drill core, process the resulting scanning data, and create a user-friendly public platform to host geoscience data. The scope of work covers core scanning, a digital platform and web portal, historical data digitization, core facility modernization, and delivery and partnership models. The project requires the efficient digitization and integration of legacy and new datasets to support cost-effective, sustainable long-term operations. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget and expects the performance of the work to occur offsite.
