RFI for Digital Forensics Software

The Division of Security Operations is seeking information on alternative digital forensics tools to collect, analyze, and preserve electronic evidence from computers, mobile devices, and networks. The agency needs a solution that can create forensically sound full-disk images of Windows, macOS, and Linux devices, specifically including support for macOS 14 Sonoma, macOS 15 Sequoia, and macOS 26 Tahoe. Additionally, the requested software must support forensically sound logical and physical imaging of mobile devices, such as iOS, iPad, and Android, and ingest images taken from forensic imaging devices for review. The scope of work covers data acquisition capabilities across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and related file systems and devices. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate in this market research effort. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite and is currently looking for budget proposals to understand the cost of these solutions.
