Cybersecurity Monitoring Services

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo requires continuous twenty-four-seven-three-hundred-sixty-five cybersecurity monitoring of its network detection and response platform. The municipality is seeking a partner to solve the challenge of ongoing threat detection, alert generation, alert triage, severity classification, and threat validation. The selected service provider will also handle alert enrichment using available telemetry, email notifications for high and critical alerts, and phone escalation for confirmed critical incidents. The scope of work covers investigation support, recommendations to the municipal information technology team, and operational reporting on alert volumes, incident trends, and monitoring effectiveness. Additionally, the municipality requires endpoint, server, or network containment actions, along with remediation, eradication, or recovery activities. The partner must also manage changes to endpoint, network, or security control configurations, and execute incident response actions beyond basic notification and advisory support. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in Canada. The municipality requires all performance of the work to occur offsite, and bidders may submit their proposals digitally via email or online. The municipality has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine pricing. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 29, 2026.
