The Kentucky River Authority in Frankfort, Kentucky, requires comprehensive janitorial services to maintain its facility. The agency needs to solve the problem of maintaining a clean, sanitized, and professional environment for both staff and the public. The requested scope of work covers cleaning all entrance, exit, vestibule, and front lobby glass inside and outside, as well as cleaning the entire glass on walls, interior doors, partitions, and both front and back stairways. The selected provider must sweep steps and landings in the rear entrance from the first floor to the fifth floor. The work also includes sweeping floors and sanitizing tables and surfaces in the Training Room at least once a week, or as requested. Additionally, the agency requires cleaning of door kicks, push plates, handles, frames, and waste baskets, alongside damp cleaning of public-use desks, chairs, tables, and ceiling vents. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency requires all contracted work to be performed onsite at the Frankfort facility. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 18, 2026. The agency is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit or specific evaluation scoring criteria in the initial request.
