The United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for a government facility located in Aurora, Minnesota. The agency requires these cleaning services to maintain a sanitary, orderly, and professional environment across its office, warehouse, and bunkhouse spaces. This procurement is set aside entirely for United States-based small businesses. The requested scope of work requires twice-weekly cleaning of floors, steps, carpets, and entry doormats. The contractor must clean and disinfect the kitchen sink, microwave, conference and kitchen tables, and the hallway drinking fountain. Trash and recycling containers must be emptied, with recycling transported to a local recycling center and garbage placed in the warehouse dumpster. Bathroom cleaning in both the office and warehouses must occur twice per week using germicidal disinfectant. This task covers fixtures, sinks, exhaust fans, ceramic tile, urinals, toilets, floors, and chairs, along with the replenishment of bathroom supplies. The contractor must also check and clean the windows on three exterior doors, clean bathroom mirrors, and sweep the concrete floor in the North Warehouse exercise room. Additional general cleaning tasks for the entire bunkhouse include washing all windows inside and out during the month of April. The contractor must wipe down all trim and baseboards, wash all blinds, and wipe out windowsills in the bunkhouse. The hallway and utility room require sweeping and mopping. Inside the living room area, the contractor must sweep and mop the floor, dust the television stand and side table, and vacuum the couch and chairs. This living room task includes removing and cleaning the couch cushions. Bidders must be domestic United States organizations to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency requires all work to be performed onsite at the Aurora facility.
