The issuing agency is seeking information on core scanning, digital platform, data integration, and facility modernization solutions. The agency intends to digitize approximately 700,000 metres of drill core, integrate associated historical datasets, and provide open-access to this data through a digital platform. The project aims to solve the challenge of managing and accessing vast geological archives by establishing high-throughput, high-quality scanning and creating a user-friendly public web portal. The scope of work covers core scanning, digital platform development, historical data digitization, and core facility modernization. The selected partner must process scanning data from drill core, digitize legacy datasets, and integrate new datasets into the platform. The agency requires a solution that ensures cost-effective, sustainable, long-term operations through efficient delivery and partnership models. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in Canada. The agency requires the performance of the work to take place offsite. Respondents may submit their responses digitally via email or through an online portal. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and financial structure for the project.
