The municipality requires threat detection, alert generation, alert triage, severity classification, threat validation, and contextual analysis for its Network Detection and Response (NDR) platform. The selected partner must enrich alerts using available telemetry and integrations, send email notifications for high and critical alerts, and provide phone escalation for confirmed critical incidents. The scope of work covers investigation support and recommendations to the municipal information technology team based on observed activity. The service provider must deliver operational and service-level reporting on alert volumes, incident trends, severity distribution, and monitoring effectiveness. The municipality also requires endpoint, server, or network containment actions, alongside remediation, eradication, or recovery activities. The provider must execute changes to endpoint, network, or security control configurations, and perform incident response execution beyond notification and advisory support. Only onshore organizations located in Canada are eligible to bid on this opportunity.
