GIS Consulting Services

The McHenry County government authority in Woodstock, Illinois is seeking professional GIS consulting services to support its GIS Department. The agency needs ongoing assistance to manage and deploy enterprise geodatabases and GIS applications across various county departments. The project covers a two-year period beginning in December of fiscal year 2026-27, although the initial contract period will be for one year. The agency currently utilizes ESRI software, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS GeoEvent, ArcGIS Image Server, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Pro. The county runs ArcGIS Server web applications on both the internet and intranet using ArcGIS JavaScript API, ArcGIS Maps SDK for Java, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, C#, AJAX, JavaScript/HTML5, and SQL reporting services. The requested scope of work includes enterprise geodatabase professional services, ArcGIS Server professional services, application development, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Portal support, network administration, and the transfer of knowledge, training, and documentation. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to be completed offsite. The county is looking for budget proposals to define the cost of these services, and bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 18, 2026.
