Campus Security Camera Installation Service

The government authority located in Reno, Nevada is seeking a vendor to provide a campus security camera installation service. The agency requires a complete, fully operational, network-based video surveillance system to enhance security across its campus. The selected contractor must provide all labor, supervision, project management, materials, equipment, software, programming, licenses, training, commissioning, documentation, testing, and incidentals necessary to deliver this system. The scope of work includes furnishing and installing new surveillance cameras, mounts, housings, brackets, backboxes, enclosures, network cabling, patching, terminations, power supplies, PoE switches where required, surge protection, and labeling. The agency also requires the installation, configuration, licensing, testing, and commissioning of the specified video management software platform. Additionally, the project covers all server, workstation, storage, gateway, encoder, decoder, appliance, middleware, API, or connector components required to support the system architecture and integrations. The agency requires all software licensing necessary for a complete and permanently functional system, including device, server, client, analytics, and integration licenses, as well as API modules and support subscriptions. The contractor must handle all programming, configuration, firmware coordination, network setup coordination, user permissions, camera naming, map setup, views, groups, alerts, recording schedules, retention settings, and integration settings. Finally, the agency expects startup, testing, commissioning, owner training, record documentation, warranties, and closeout documents. Eligible bidders must be onshore entities based in the United States, and all work must be performed onsite at the Reno, Nevada campus. The contract period will span one year from the award date. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 18, 2026.
