The Kentucky River Authority in Frankfort, Kentucky, requires comprehensive janitorial services to maintain its facility. The agency needs to solve the problem of maintaining a clean, sanitary, and professional environment across multiple floors, from the first floor to the fifth floor. The scope of work covers cleaning all entrance, exit, vestibule, and front lobby glass inside and outside, as well as cleaning the entire glass on walls, interior doors, partitions, and both front and back stairways. The selected provider must sweep steps and landings in the rear entrance and clean door kicks, push plates, handles, and frames. The agency requires weekly cleaning and sanitizing of tables and surfaces in the Training Room, along with weekly sweeping of the Training Room floors. Additionally, the work includes damp cleaning ceiling vents, damp cleaning public-use desks, chairs, and tables, heavy scrubbing as needed, and cleaning the inside and outside of waste baskets at least once per week. Only organizations based onshore in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency requires all contracted janitorial work to be performed onsite at the Frankfort facility. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 18, 2026. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit or specific evaluation scoring criteria in the initial request.
