The United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for a government authority facility located in Aurora, Minnesota. The agency requires these cleaning services to maintain a sanitary, orderly, and professional environment across its office, warehouse, and bunkhouse spaces. This procurement is set aside entirely for small businesses, and only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to compete. The scope of work requires twice-weekly cleaning of floors, steps, carpets, entryways, and doormats. The contractor must clean and disinfect the kitchen sink, microwave, conference and kitchen tables, drinking fountains, and bathrooms in both the office and the warehouses. Additional twice-weekly tasks include emptying garbage and recycling containers, transporting recyclables to a recycling center, cleaning exterior door windows and bathroom mirrors, and sweeping the concrete floor in the North Warehouse exercise room. The project also covers general and living room area cleaning tasks for the entire bunkhouse. The contractor must wash all windows inside and out, wipe down trim and baseboards, wash all blinds, and wipe out windowsills, with window washing scheduled specifically for April and excluded in December. Bidders must also sweep and mop the bunkhouse hallway, utility room, and living room floor, dust the television stand and side table, and vacuum the couch and chairs, including removing and cleaning the cushions. The agency is soliciting proposals to establish the budget for these services, which must be performed entirely onsite at the Aurora facility. Bidders must submit their responses digitally, either through email or the online portal. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the bidder's ability to meet all specified cleaning frequencies and tasks while satisfying the total small business set-aside and domestic organization requirements.
