Microfilm Scanners Supplies

The government authority located in Austin, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide new microfilm scanners and supplies. The agency needs to acquire equipment that supports viewing, scanning, printing, and digital image export capabilities for 16mm and 35mm roll film as well as microfiche formats. The required scanners must handle both positive and negative film formats while providing a minimum optical resolution of 300 DPI or greater. The scope of work requires the hardware to feature image rotation, zoom, pan, and image enhancement capabilities such as automatic brightness adjustment, cropping, and image correction. The system must support efficient scanning operations, including the ability to scan multiple images and frames in sequence, and output searchable documents in TIFF, PDF, and JPEG formats. The agency requires all equipment to be brand new, as refurbished, remanufactured, or pre-market equipment will not be accepted. Each scanner must include scanning software, all necessary operating licenses, a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, and all required cables. The equipment must operate in a Microsoft Windows environment, support USB and/or network file export capability, and include the manufacturer's standard warranty. The performance of the work will take place offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is looking for budget proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget limit. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this procurement no later than June 18, 2026.
