Point-Of-Sale Solution

The Broward County Sheriff's Office is seeking a turnkey, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliant point-of-sale solution. The agency needs to record the collection of payments deposited to its bank account, including transactions tendered at each register. The system must process United States currency, personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, debit card transactions, and credit card transactions. The project scope covers all necessary hardware such as servers, desktop computers, and registers, as well as applications and underlying third-party software. The selected vendor must provide data migration services, customized programming services, configuration, integration, operating materials and supplies, support, maintenance, and training. The agency requires all performance of the work to occur offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will award a contract for a period of one year.
