Student Safety System

The agency is seeking a comprehensive student safety system to manage visitor security, emergency reunification, emergency notifications, emergency planning, drills, and student and staff identification. The system must feature a user-friendly, web-based front-end interface that integrates with student information systems and active directories. It must run on Apple iPad 8th Generation devices using the current iOS version and support role-based security, access controls, and single sign-on. For visitor management, the system must support scanned IDs, badge barcodes, QR codes, or manual entry, alongside digital camera image capture and the retrieval of saved visitor information. The agency requires the option to disallow self-sign-in on initial or subsequent visits, confidential notifications for failed screenings, and email and app alerts. The system must track all visitor entries and exits in a permanent log and generate local and district reports. For attendance and pass management, the system must create and print staff and student identification badges based on HR and student information system data. These badges must utilize QR codes, barcodes, or RFID tags. The system must also facilitate student scanning and check-in for daily and per-period attendance, with direct integration back to the student information system. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected vendor must perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office premises.
