Indigenous Design System Development

The agency is seeking a vendor to develop a comprehensive Indigenous design system that provides a unified visual expression for Indigenous Initiatives across digital, print, and physical environments. This project aims to create visual cohesion across materials while aligning with the agency's existing brand system and guidelines. The agency requires a design system that resonates with the Indigenous communities it serves and conveys a welcoming message reflecting Indigenous traditions, spirituality, inclusion, and diversity. The scope of work covers discovery, design system development, application examples, deliverables and design system outputs, Indigenous engagement, and intellectual property and cultural rights. The final system must support implementation by the agency's in-house design team. Performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligibility is restricted to Canadian organizations operating onshore. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders rather than providing a set budget limit.
