Destination Marketing Organization Services

The City of College Park is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive destination marketing organization services. The agency needs to promote the city and generate measurable increases in hotel occupancy, visitor spending, and economic activity. The selected vendor will market local hotels, restaurants, event venues, attractions, parks, entertainment facilities, and cultural destinations. The scope of work covers the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on leisure travel, meetings, conventions, sporting events, and other visitor-generating activities. Requested services include social media marketing, public relations, earned media outreach, content creation, digital advertising campaigns, and search engine optimization. The agency also requires the development of a written annual marketing plan, visitor guides, promotional materials, and direct sales outreach to convention planners, trade associations, sports organizations, and group travel coordinators. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. The contract period will be for one year.
