Unarmed Security Guard Services

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide unarmed security guard services for several facilities located in Compton, California. The selected vendor must also provide mobile unarmed security guards at various facilities upon request by agency staff. Security guards are strictly prohibited from carrying any weapons, specifically including firearms, pepper sprays, knives, batons, or tasers. The guards also must not carry handcuffs, zip-tie handcuffs, or other restraining devices. The guards must carry a mobile phone that allows for direct communication to the agency dispatch line. The scope of work requires all performance to be completed onsite at the designated locations. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The contract period will span three years. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 23, 2026.
